Designed for the airbrush… and more!
A high-end technical surface, chosen to withstand real-world airbrush use and painting in general.
Zero glare
Ultra-matte surface: even under a hobby lamp, the slab reflects no harsh light that would tire your eyes over long sessions. It absorbs brightness and stays pleasant to look at. Its neutral grey-beige does not alter the true color of your paints: ideal for appreciating their real rendering.
Slots for your paints
Whether you use Ak Interactive, Citadel, Green Stuff World, Scale 75.. paints, the palette features precision machining to hold your paints securely with no risk of tipping them over: 6 holes 3.6 cm in diameter and 6 holes 2.8 cm in diameter.
Need a large surface for big projects? Flip the palette over and enjoy a wide, smooth space for your biggest miniatures with a 60×40 cm plane surface.
Self-healing
Surface micro-scratches can be erased in two ways: with a magic eraser sponge (included with the palette) or with heat, for example with an iron over a damp paper towel. The palette stays flawless, session after session.
Smudge-proof
Soft touch and fingerprint-proof: no finger marks, the surface stays spotless at all times.
Solvent-resistant
Thinners, alcohols and aggressive airbrush cleaners: the surface takes it all without damage or dulling.
Express cleaning
Paint never sticks: fresh or dried, the surface is hydrophobic, liquids do not penetrate. A wipe with a microfiber cloth and a degreaser or an airbrush cleaner, and it’s clean. A hygienic, easy-going surface.
Rugged
Resists scratches, abrasion and dry heat. A palette designed to last for years.

What’s in the kit?
The palette comes with:
- a magic eraser sponge (Mr. Clean type)
- a microfiber cloth
- a fabric sleeve to store your palette if you don’t have a dedicated space*
* The fabric’s material and color may change depending on availability from the manufacturer.

How to maintain it?
During a session as well as at the end, the palette always gives you a clean surface to move forward with peace of mind. When painting, especially with the airbrush, marks build up fast (droplet spray, spilled paint…): here’s how to keep a spotless work surface.
During a session
Between two airbrush colors, wipe your palette with a damp cloth, and if needed a degreaser or a bit of airbrush cleaner, to get a clean surface back.
After a session
Even without intermediate cleaning after each paint (which I never do), the accumulated paint dries on the surface — and that’s where the magic happens.
- Clear the palette of anything unnecessary so you have an empty slab.
- Spray your airbrush cleaner (or a degreasing spray such as Chanteclair or AK spray) over the whole palette. Let it sit for a few minutes if needed: the dissolving time depends on the thickness of the paint. For airbrush micro-dust, a few seconds are enough; for a dried drop, let it sit longer.
- Wipe with a microfiber cloth: almost all the stains come off instantly. Repeat if necessary.
- If a few halos remain (pigment-heavy contrast paints, fluo inks), don’t panic: use the magic eraser sponge included with the palette (any magic eraser sponge will do, but never an abrasive sponge, at the risk of polishing the surface). Rub the area to remove the last residues.
- The color of the palette is designed to leave almost no trace; for a perfect finish, then wipe with a clean microfiber cloth dampened with hot water.
The important points
- Never use an abrasive product or tool. The surface has a non-uniform microscopic texture, which is what makes it so effective against glare. An abrasive (green sponge, micro-grain product) does not scratch it but polishes it: it would end up glossy. Prefer a soft microfiber cloth with a good degreaser (Chanteclair, Marseille soap spray, airbrush thinner or cleaner, remover…).
- No high-impact work on it. The palette withstands shocks very well, but it is not made for carpentry (hammer, wood chisels…). It is heat-repairable, but if a piece breaks off after an impact, it cannot be recovered.
- Protect it to guarantee its lifespan. For harder jobs (drilling bases, epoxy resin…), avoid using the palette or protect it: a small silicone mat for epoxy resin, a cutting mat for drilling a base.

Production launch
The prototype is validated and the manufacturer is ready. Production starts as soon as the series is complete, and at the latest 1 month after the campaign opens.
Shipping
Your palette is manufactured then shipped directly to your home. You are kept informed at every step.
A transparent word about the price
Making a Fenix tool in a small series has a simple reality: the raw material, the precision machining and the shipping of a well-protected 4.5 kg parcel are expensive. Every euro of the price corresponds to these manufacturing and logistics costs, which I cannot reduce.
Rather than cutting corners on quality to lower the price, I chose to add value: the free month of Studio Gold is my way of thanking you for your support — and of making sure you truly get your money’s worth.
Frequently asked questions
Where is it made?
The material itself is made in Italy. The design, machining and manufacturing are also 100% Italian, made in the Venice region.
What about the dimensions ?
This palette mesures 60×40 cm.
When will I be delivered?
Production starts as soon as the series is complete, and at the latest 2 months after the campaign opens. Your palette then ships via tracked Colissimo, delivered against signature and insured: you receive a tracking number as soon as it ships and are kept informed at every step by email.
How much does the palette weigh?
The slab weighs about 4.5 kg. Once placed on a flat surface like a table, it will keep its position. If your table is made of a more textured material (ceramic or other) you can use felt or anti-slip pads for a better grip.
What if the 15 units are not reached?
Production launches no matter what, at the latest 2 months after opening. You will receive your order even if the series is not complete: your pre-order is guaranteed.
What are the shipping costs?
Free delivery in mainland France. For the French overseas territories (DOM-TOM), a 60 euro surcharge applies: select your destination before pre-ordering, the total adjusts automatically.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payment goes through PayPlug, a French solution (Banque Populaire group), with 3-D Secure authentication. Your banking details never pass through this site. You can pay in one go or in 4× installments at no extra cost (subject to acceptance by the payment provider).
How do I receive my month of Studio Gold?
After your pre-order, I contact you at the email address used for payment to activate your month of access to the Gold tier on Patreon. You don’t have to do anything.
